Anne Green Named to PRWeek's 2026 Women of Distinction

NEW YORK, March 17, 2026 — G&S Integrated Marketing Communications Group (GS IMCG) today announced that Principal and CEO Anne Green has been named to PRWeek’s 2026 Women of Distinction, an annual recognition honoring the PR industry’s most influential and inspiring female leaders.

The program celebrates senior executives who demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic insight, and a lasting impact on the communications profession. As PRWeek noted, honorees “set the bar high…for their peers and the generations of professionals that will follow.”

Green’s recognition reflects more than three decades of leadership in integrated communications and her role in shaping the modern evolution of G&S Integrated Marketing Communications Group. As CEO, she leads the performance, culture, and strategic direction of a multi-agency platform serving clients across agriculture, healthcare, professional services, technology, and other complex, reputation-driven sectors.

A Leader for a Changing Industry

Since becoming CEO, Green has guided GS IMCG through a period of sustained growth and transformation, helping the firm reach record performance while expanding capabilities across analytics, integrated communications, and emerging technologies.

Her leadership philosophy of “high performance and highly human” underscores a belief that business results and empathetic leadership are not mutually exclusive, but mutually reinforcing.

Beyond firm leadership, Green is widely recognized as a trusted counselor to senior executives navigating complexity, particularly in regulated and high-stakes environments. She is also an active voice on the future of communications, including the ethical integration of AI and the enduring importance of human judgment in an increasingly automated landscape.

Mentorship, Industry Impact, and Giving Back

A defining thread of Green’s career is her commitment to mentorship and industry stewardship. Inspired by early mentors who helped shape her path, she has remained deeply engaged in developing the next generation of communications professionals.

She regularly returns to her alma mater, Vassar College, to mentor students through its Sophomore Career Connections program, helping expand awareness of careers in marketing communications and PR.

Green has also contributed to the broader profession through leadership roles with the PR Council, including co-chairing its Ethics Committee and helping shape industry-leading guidelines for the responsible use of generative AI.

She is an active member of the Page Society and a frequent contributor to industry dialogue through speaking engagements and thought leadership platforms, including co-hosting the Building Brand Gravity podcast.

Leading Through Uncertainty

In her PRWeek profile, Green emphasized the importance of navigating ambiguity with clarity and conviction:

“I’ve had to embrace not being fully certain, and yet still working with my partners and our clients to weigh the evidence, map multiple paths and outcomes, and find our way forward.”

She also highlighted the continued opportunity for women in communications, pointing to the industry’s evolution toward greater leadership representation and the growing importance of human-centered skills in the age of AI.

Recognition Rooted in Impact

Green’s inclusion in PRWeek’s Women of Distinction builds on a series of industry honors recognizing both her professional achievements and her broader influence, including PRWeek’s Global Power Book and PR News’ Top Women in PR.

Her impact extends beyond business performance to shaping culture, advancing ethical standards, and mentoring future leaders, a combination that defines the spirit of the Women of Distinction program.
