NEW YORK, July 23, 2026 — Loren King, digital marketing Supervisor: AI + Insights at MorganMyers, a G&S Agency, and Mary Gordon, Vice President of Client Service at G&S Business Communications, were featured presenters at the 2026 Agricultural Media Summit (AMS), the largest annual gathering of the agriculture industry's top writers, editors, photographers, publishers and strategic communicators in the U.S. The conference was held July 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.
Now in its 27th year, AMS is hosted by the Agricultural Communicators Network (ACN) and the Livestock Publications Council (LPC), with support from the Ag Media Council. This year's theme, "AI: Authentic Intelligence," reflected the questions facing editors, writers, designers and marketing communications professionals across the industry as they weigh how new tools fit alongside the judgment and craft that have always defined strong agricultural storytelling.
In his session, "AI for Ag Work: Augment Your Writing, Editing and Research," King gave attendees a working set of prompts, a guide to which AI tools fit which tasks and practical workflows for putting them to use — all built around a central idea: AI should create more room for human insight, not replace it.
Gordon's session, "Work Smarter, Not Harder: Leveraging Content Across Channels," tackled a challenge familiar to every communicator asked to stretch one story across print, digital, social, audio and video. She shared real-world examples, simple planning tools and ways AI can support the work, while audience insight, editorial judgment and storytelling instinct stay firmly in the driver's seat.
"Loren and Mary are two of the sharpest minds on strategically putting AI to work as a complement to their deep agrimarketing expertise, and in a way that enhances the time, energy, and creativity required to deliver award-winning, high-impact programs," said Steve Halsey, Principal and Chief Growth Officer of G&S Integrated Marketing Communications Group. "Having them both on the AMS stage this year is a reflection of the depth of talent across our agencies, and of the trusted counsel our teams bring to clients every day."
The sessions underscore GS IMCG's continued investment in specialized expertise across the industries it serves, helping clients navigate change through informed strategy, trusted counsel and integrated communications.
